• Actively engage with Design Leads, Product Managers, User Researchers, QA Specialists, Content Strategists, and various cross-functional stakeholders to grasp business objectives, requirements, and limitations.
• Collaborate closely with Data Sciences and User Researchers to offer insights to the wider product development team. Partner with the Design Lead to identify avenues for enhancing user experience and bring innovative concepts to fruition.
• Utilize compelling storytelling and presentation abilities to convey conceptual ideas, design rationale, and the specifics of human-centered design throughout the product development cycle. This includes product ideation, UX design, user research, detailed design, and optimization.
• Apply Design Thinking and established UX Methodologies to tackle challenges. Display a strong dedication to surpassing conventional standards.
• Feel at ease working independently or in collaboration with other designers and stakeholders, all while considering user requirements, technological limitations, brand values, and product KPIs.
• Produce top-notch UX deliverables/assets aligned with user objectives and priorities, such as annotated wireframes, storyboards, mockups, high-fidelity prototypes, and production-ready final assets.
• Harness and advocate for the design system and style guide to ensure a comprehensive and consistent user experience.
• Utilize data to guide design choices and pinpoint opportunities for testing assumptions.
• Possess 5-7 years of experience in designing exceptional mobile products/experiences within an agile development setting.
• Familiarity with design systems and style guides.
• Showcase a portfolio of design work highlighting contemporary designs that inspire you and demonstrate your proficiency in designing mobile-first digital products/experiences.
• Proficiency in Figma and other design tools for creating low-fidelity and high-fidelity prototypes, as well as JIRA for collaborating with developers. Understanding of current web technology capabilities and cross-device considerations.
• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Design, Information Architecture, HCI, or possess equivalent project/portfolio experience.
• Exhibit a design thinking mindset and grasp of human-centered design principles.
• Ability to break down complex problems/tasks and transform them into intuitive, inclusive experiences centered around users and data-driven insights.
• Experience crafting digital products/experiences through in-depth knowledge of user research, interaction design, and prototyping.
• Capable of working in an agile development environment alongside cross-functional partners.
• Advocate for the design process while balancing product demands and technical capabilities.
• Preferred experience in Banking or Fintech industries.
