• About the Position:
• Lyra Health is in search of an exceptional Staff Product Designer to redefine how millions engage with mental health care.
• An exciting opportunity for a designer passionate about creating user-centric experiences that are engaging, intelligent, and discovery-focused—guiding individuals through their mental health journey with confidence.
• As a Staff Product Designer, you will drive design strategy and execution across intricate, cross-functional projects shaping the future consumer experience at Lyra.
• Leading the charge in infusing AI into Lyra’s UX, you will pioneer conversational and personalized care pathways for mental well-being.
• Seamlessly transitioning between strategic thinking and meticulous design, connecting intricate details to the overarching service ecosystem.
• In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, senior leaders, and external partners to elevate Lyra’s design standards and bring innovative solutions to fruition.
• This role is available as a full-time position at our Burlingame, CA headquarters or virtually (remote candidates must be U.S.-based).
• Minimum of 10 years of product design experience focusing on consumer-oriented interfaces for web, iOS, and Android platforms.
• Proven ability to independently lead strategic, cross-functional projects from conceptualization to implementation.
• Expertise in both interaction and visual design, with a strong emphasis on systems thinking.
• Background in designing for complex service ecosystems and multi-platform user experiences.
• Demonstrated success in launching consumer products with significant UX impact and favorable business outcomes.
• Preferred experience in incorporating AI, personalization, or intelligent systems into consumer products.
• Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end product design processes, focusing on problem-solving at various levels.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and storytelling skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Collaborative nature with a proactive, independent work approach.
• Experience in developing or contributing to extensive design systems.
• Passion for enhancing mental health care accessibility and creating empathetic, user-centered solutions.
• Comfort in a fast-paced startup environment with a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
• Portfolio demonstrating UX-focused projects for web and mobile applications.
• Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communication, HCI, or equivalent practical background.
