📋 Description

• Lead 1-3 UI/UX projects, specializing in creating branded e-commerce websites.

• Focus on delivering branded UI, conversion-oriented UX, and clear design strategies.

• Present design concepts to clients, justifying design decisions based on effective reasoning and UX principles.

• Independently manage design projects from inception to delivery, ensuring adherence to timelines and collaborating with developers for implementation.

• Establish component systems and uphold design standards for consistency.

• Oversee a team of designers, initially managing 2-4 direct reports and expanding with team growth. Provide support in strategy, project management, design critique, performance assessment, and conflict resolution.

• Conduct regular individual meetings with team members to evaluate client relationships, provide feedback, and oversee professional development.

• Maintain high standards of work from team members, emphasizing visual quality, UX proficiency, and timely delivery.

• Collaborate with diverse teams, including marketers, strategists, developers, and clients, to create project plans, comprehend business goals, and address client concerns.


⛳️ Requirements

• Possess 3-6+ years of senior-level web design experience in e-commerce, with at least 1 year of people management experience preferred. Must have expertise in responsive web design.

• Showcase a digital portfolio demonstrating web design and branding skills, encompassing color theory, hierarchy, layout, and typography.

• Display self-motivation, proactiveness, attention to detail, and a strong sense of ownership.

• Have experience collaborating with developers and documenting designs for seamless hand-off.

• Comfortably handle client interactions in English, including leading discovery calls and addressing client feedback.

• Provide constructive internal feedback and guide team members to enhance their work.

• Demonstrate problem-solving abilities, grasp business challenges, devise effective solutions, and execute them proficiently.

• Proficiency in Figma, including features like Auto Layout, Components, and Variants, is crucial.

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) is essential.

• Bonus: Familiarity with HTML/CSS or frameworks like Tailwind is a plus.
