📋 Description

• Take the lead on 1-3 UI/UX projects for branded e-commerce websites.

• Focus on creating branded UI, conversion-driven UX, and clear design approaches.

• Present design concepts to clients, explaining decisions based on effective reasoning and UX principles.

• Independently manage design projects from start to finish, ensuring timelines are met and collaborating with developers for feasibility.

• Establish component systems and uphold design guidelines for consistency.

• Manage a team of designers, providing support in strategy, project management, feedback, performance evaluation, and escalations.

• Conduct regular 1:1s with team members to evaluate client relationships, give feedback, and oversee career growth.

• Uphold high standards for work output, emphasizing visual quality, UX expertise, and timely delivery.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop project plans, align with business goals, and address client needs.

• Refine internal processes for client work in collaboration with the Director of Creative, offering training and feedback to enhance team skills.


⛳️ Requirements

• 3-6+ years of senior-level web design experience in e-commerce, with at least 1 year of people management experience preferred. Experience in responsive web design is a must.

• Showcase a digital portfolio highlighting web design and branding skills, including color theory, hierarchy, composition, and typography.

• Be self-motivated, proactive, detail-oriented, and take ownership of tasks.

• Collaborate effectively with developers and document designs for seamless hand-off.

• Comfortably handle client interactions in English, leading discovery calls and addressing feedback.

• Provide constructive feedback internally and guide team members to enhance their work.

• Solve ambiguous problems, understand business challenges, design effective solutions, and execute them successfully.

• Proficiency in Figma, including Auto Layout, Components, and Variants, is essential. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) is required.

• Bonus: Familiarity with HTML/CSS or frameworks like Tailwind.
