β’ Lead the development of our Core Product (70%) by immersing yourself in our desktop UI, onboarding processes, and Pro/paywall features. You will be responsible for translating intricate product strategies into seamless player journeys that align with technical and performance standards while interacting with heavy PC games. This role involves utilizing data from various sources, engaging with players directly, collaborating with PMs, and forming well-informed opinions before diving into design work.
β’ Manage Web & Growth initiatives (30%) by taking charge of our web presence and marketing strategies to enhance user acquisition and brand recognition.
β’ Utilize AI thinking and the right tools to solve problems effectively. Your workflow should involve thorough analysis, metric interrogation, scenario planning, and strategic decision-making. Choose the appropriate medium for validation, whether it's a quick interactive prototype or a detailed visual design in tools like Figma.
β’ Enhance our ecosystem by designing features across multiple platforms (Desktop, Web, Overlay) in collaboration with the Lead Product Designer. Ensure that new features seamlessly integrate into the overall Wand platform design language.
β’ Proactively shape project scopes by collaborating with cross-functional teams, addressing ambiguities, and advocating for the best player experience. Anticipate and address potential issues before they arise.
β’ Minimum of 5 years of product design experience with a strong portfolio showcasing exceptional visual/UI design skills and strategic thinking.
β’ Genuine passion for gaming culture and a deep understanding of what makes gaming experiences exceptional.
β’ Proficient use of LLMs for research, problem-solving, and decision-making, along with expertise in AI-assisted prototyping tools and Figma.
β’ Strong strategic product sense, ability to thrive in ambiguity, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and prioritize user experience.
β’ Proven track record of owning end-to-end solutions in complex systems within fast-paced environments.
