• Lead the development of the future 'brand' experience for Hubspot's customers, starting with a focus on the brand settings experience.
• Utilize customer insights, data, and research to create clear and compelling product experiences.
• Define problem spaces, identify opportunities, and influence the long-term direction of product strategy.
• Establish design frameworks, systems, and patterns to enhance quality and consistency across HubSpot's platform.
• Collaborate closely with PMs, Engineers, Researchers, and Content Designers to ensure clarity, alignment, and momentum.
• Provide mentorship to designers on the team, offering constructive feedback and enhancing their skills.
• Advocate for usability, accessibility, and simplicity in all product decisions.
• Clearly communicate vision and decisions to cross-functional partners, stakeholders, and leadership.
• Proven experience in end-to-end design of digital products in a fast-paced, product-focused environment, with a specialization in AI tools and AI-first product experiences.
• Showcase a portfolio highlighting exceptional craft, interaction design, systems thinking, and problem-solving for complex products.
• Ability to synthesize data, user insights, and business goals into cohesive design strategies.
• Experience in influencing product direction and aligning multiple teams.
• Comfortable working independently, handling ambiguity, and making informed decisions.
• Strong communication skills to articulate reasoning and tradeoffs effectively.
• Dedication to accessibility, inclusivity, and high-quality design.
• Nice-to-have: Experience with large-scale design systems or platforms, prior work in SaaS, CRM, or AI-powered product environments, familiarity with experimentation, rapid prototyping, and iterative testing, and mentoring designers of varying levels.
