Head of Design and UX

📋 Description

• MARA is looking for a Head of Design and UX to spearhead the design strategy for our diverse product range, including inference infrastructure, energy orchestration, and compute efficiency.

• This pivotal role involves establishing and expanding a top-tier design team that collaborates closely with product, engineering, and operations to craft compelling, efficient, and cohesive user experiences.

• Whether it's optimizing AI interfaces, operational tools, or energy market interfaces, you will set standards for usability, accessibility, and visual harmony across all customer and internal platforms.

• You will oversee the development of cohesive design systems, user research methodologies, and prototyping workflows that foster rapid innovation and impactful results.

• Lead the growth and enhancement of the design and UX department within MARA's product line.

• Work alongside project managers and engineers to create seamless end-to-end product experiences that strike a balance between technical intricacy and simplicity.

• Establish and maintain scalable design systems for web interfaces, dashboards, tools, and emerging hardware interfaces.

• Implement UX research and testing processes to drive confident decision-making.

• Play a hands-on role in key initiatives while nurturing the team's development.

• Ensure consistency, brand coherence, and user-friendliness across all customer and operator interfaces.

• Serve as a strategic advisor to the executive team on customer experience, product-market alignment, and competitive positioning.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in product design, UX, or interaction design roles.

• At least 2 years of experience in a design leadership role within infrastructure, enterprise, or technical product settings.

• Proven track record of creating and scaling design systems across various platforms.

• Impressive portfolio showcasing expertise in interaction design, visual design, and user-centric problem-solving.

• Strong understanding of user needs, from ML engineers to energy operators to internal stakeholders.

• Proficient in modern design and prototyping tools.

• Excellent communication, facilitation, and leadership skills across different teams.
