• Conduct requirements gathering sessions with clients to evaluate their needs and identify essential functionality.
• Perform heuristic evaluations and offer recommendations based on industry best practices and prior experience.
• Analyze competitor websites to identify best practices and integrate relevant patterns and findings into site recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to incorporate insights from strategy, SEO, and development teams to develop comprehensive recommendations.
• Utilize website analytics expertise to translate analytics data into UX recommendations.
• Experience in usability testing is advantageous.
• Translate business requirements into functional requirements and designs for new sites or features.
• Develop wireframes, flow diagrams, sitemaps, and high-fidelity prototypes to demonstrate how requirements translate into new mobile and desktop experiences.
• Present recommendations, facilitate working sessions to review design concepts and documentation with clients, and integrate their feedback.
• Mentor and assign work to junior UX designers.
• Demonstrated ability to balance usability and conversion optimization in user experiences, with examples from your portfolio.
• Proficiency in creating wireframes and prototypes for mobile and desktop experiences, particularly using Figma.
• Understanding of website development processes to provide informed recommendations on development feasibility.
• 3 – 5+ years of professional experience as a UX specialist at an agency.
• Ability to manage tight timelines and multiple clients across various industries.
• Note: Visual design skills are not required for this role.
