• Responsibilities include leading design execution, mentoring junior designers, and collaborating closely with Product Managers and Developers to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• From concept to final delivery and post-launch evaluations, you will oversee the entire design process.
• Working across various platforms such as the employee portal, employer portal, and admin dashboard, you will create comprehensive and impactful user experiences.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of customer and business issues to pinpoint pain points.
• Swiftly devise effective and sophisticated solutions to address challenges.
• Strategically envision the product from a high-level perspective to connect all elements seamlessly.
• Update acceptance criteria and establish the logic behind your designs.
• Take complete ownership of your work throughout the design process, from ideation to feedback after release.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Developers to jointly lead the team.
• Provide constructive feedback and mentorship to designers within your team.
• Conduct design reviews and one-on-one sessions.
• Drive the product vision and guide the team towards a brighter future state.
• Direct the design execution of the group towards achieving business objectives.
• Work holistically across various platforms to resolve issues - including the employee portal, employer portal, and admin dashboard for customer support.
• Possess 5-7 years of experience as a product designer in dynamic environments, preferably within scale-ups or startups.
• Have 1-2 years of experience as a lead product designer, with a focus on managing and mentoring teams.
• Demonstrate strong expertise in both UX and UI design.
• Show a deep passion for design and continuous learning.
• Proficient in working with design systems.
• Ability to work independently and empower team members effectively.
• Know when to delve into details and when to execute tasks efficiently.
• Experience collaborating closely with development teams with minimal supervision from product managers.
• Comfortable managing the complete development cycle, from idea generation to design QA.
• Must be located in the EMEA time zone(s).
