• Coho Consulting Group is currently in search of a talented OutSystems UI/UX Designer who can bring creativity and expertise to our team, crafting visually appealing and user-centered applications on the OutSystems low-code platform.
• This position requires a blend of strong visual design skills and a deep understanding of user experience, collaborating closely with various teams like developers, product managers, and stakeholders.
• The ideal candidate should have a strong knowledge of OutSystems UI capabilities, user-centered design principles, and design systems.
• They will be instrumental in defining the visual identity of our digital solutions, ensuring optimal usability, accessibility, and performance through testing and continuous improvement.
• This role allows for remote work.
• Responsibilities include:
• UI Design
• Designing polished, responsive, and user-friendly interfaces for web and mobile applications using OutSystems.
• Translating branding and design standards into reusable screen templates and patterns.

• Staying updated on emerging trends in UI/UX design, mobile-first principles, accessibility, and design tools.
• Recommending and implementing best practices to enhance user engagement and product usability.

• Education: Bachelor's degree
• Experience:
• Proficiency in designing user interfaces using OutSystems Service Studio and understanding of UI development constraints.
• Strong understanding of visual hierarchy, interaction design, user research, and design thinking methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar tools for wireframing and prototyping.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design principles.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams and contributing to iterative design and delivery cycles.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to justify design decisions to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to translate complex requirements into elegant, scalable, and maintainable user experiences.
• Preferred Experience:
• Certification in OutSystems UI or Reactive Web/Mobile Development.
• Experience in designing for government or enterprise applications.
• Understanding of accessibility compliance (Section 508/WCAG).
