• Zonda is in search of a full-time Product Designer II to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our applications & platforms, encompassing consumer-facing digital products and enterprise-grade data analytics and mapping software.
• Join a central Design organization that prioritizes building strong partnerships with Engineering and Product Management teams, employing creative strategies and fostering a deep understanding of user challenges across various products and domains.
• This position will concentrate on both the Discovery phase of design – framing problems and crafting solutions with key stakeholders, as well as Delivery – engaging in sprints to design user-friendly interfaces utilizing established design systems within Figma.
• You will actively contribute to design strategy, design systems, and product roadmaps in a collaborative environment.
• Develop and utilize a comprehensive range of UX skills from facilitation and design thinking to precise and engaging interface design.
• Establish a rewarding feedback loop with Product Managers, aligning exceptional user value with business objectives.
• Hold a B.A., BSc, BDes, or equivalent in HCI, Design, Psychology, Engineering, Business, or a related field; additional postgraduate qualifications or practical experience are highly valued
• Possess over 3 years of Product Design experience spanning software and web applications
• Showcase a strong portfolio illustrating design implementation, user-centricity, and developer-ready production files
• Proficiency in Figma, including expertise in design system components, auto-layout, and prototyping
• Solid grasp of accessibility standards and responsive design best practices
• Experience with established brand and design systems
• Comfortable working in agile or lean product environments
• Effective and confident communicator, capable of articulating design rationale and collaborating across teams
• Proficient in software tools such as Figma, JIRA, and Microsoft 365
