Product Designer, Mid-Level

📋 Description

• The Block is a leading research, analysis, and news brand in the digital asset space.

• We are looking for a Product Designer to shape digital product experiences on theblock.co; collaborate with various stakeholders including product, engineering, editorial, and business teams.

• Responsibilities include designing interfaces for web and mobile, leading design reviews, owning end-to-end design processes, maintaining design systems in Figma, conducting user research and testing, working closely with developers, and balancing business goals with user needs.

• Required tools include Slack, Dropbox, Adobe CS, and Figma.

• The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience and a portfolio, excellent English communication skills, and be comfortable working remotely.

• Bonuses for candidates with experience in media/crypto and front-end knowledge (HTML/CSS).

• Success in this role is defined by achieving milestones in 3-6 months, including fully integrated features driving engagement, retention, and revenue, as well as owning a major feature.

• Candidates must have 2+ years of professional experience and a strong portfolio showcasing their contributions to shipped projects, as well as expertise in working with and maintaining Figma design systems.

• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, are essential.

• Comfort in a fast-paced, remote environment is required.
