Senior Director of Product Design

📋 Description

• Reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer, you will serve as the top leader in Product Design

• Oversee AvidXchange's design team, encompassing product designers, researchers, and content designers

• Drive the platform-wide design strategy and influence the direction of the roadmap

• Strengthen collaborations with Product, Engineering, and Customer Experience to align user experience with business objectives

• Analyze customer behaviors, identify growth opportunities, and enhance experiences in a dynamic environment

• Inspire and lead a high-performing team through changing priorities and intricate challenges

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess a minimum of 15 years of UX design experience with a track record of managing design leaders for at least 5 years in high-growth, multi-product settings

• Demonstrated ability in building and expanding design teams while upholding performance standards in fast-paced environments

• Leadership experience in UX organizations within large product companies, showcasing the capacity to assess cross-product impacts

• Expertise in UI design, information architecture, and user-centered design processes with the capability to provide strategic recommendations based on quantitative and qualitative insights

• Strong cross-functional influence and collaboration skills to drive results across organizational boundaries

• Excellent communication and presentation skills across all organizational levels

• Ability to travel monthly for remote leaders to the Charlotte HQ

• Proficient in leading design for enterprise or SaaS products, as well as service design at a systems/service level

• Experience in promoting Enterprise-wide design thinking practices
