• Take ownership and oversee the mobile design system as the authoritative source for components, patterns, and documentation on both Android and iOS platforms
• Continuously enhance and manage the mobile design system, implementing governance practices such as versioning, contributor workflows, and release protocols
• Conduct audits to ensure accessibility, consistency, and quality across all mobile product interfaces
• Collaborate closely with product designers to enhance and expand the mobile design system
• Lead workshops, training sessions, and reviews to promote proper adoption and utilization
• Work closely with Android and iOS engineers to develop and maintain high-quality, reusable UI components
• Establish workflows for contributions, bug tracking, and system updates across different platforms
• Act as the design advocate in technical discussions related to mobile systems
• Explore and experiment with AI to enhance efficiency, automation, and innovation in mobile design systems, including component generation, QA, documentation, and accessibility audits
• Share insights with the design team regarding AI's impact on mobile systems and workflows
• Minimum 8 years of experience in product design
• 2–3 years dedicated to designing systems for Android and iOS platforms
• Demonstrated ability to independently drive a mobile design system from concept to implementation
• Proficiency in Figma, including components, variants, libraries, and version control
• Strong track record of collaborating effectively with mobile engineering teams (Android and iOS)
• Experience with multi-platform design tokens and integrating Material Design (Android) and Human Interface Guidelines (iOS)
• Familiarity with accessibility standards, platform-specific design considerations, and QA processes
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Interest in exploring AI in design systems and workflows, with a positive and collaborative mindset
• Ability to work remotely within the United States
