• Kindred is seeking a Senior / Staff Product Designer to contribute to shaping the future of travel. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our co-founders and cross-functional leaders to influence and enhance the fundamental member experience at Kindred. You will be responsible for end-to-end projects in a dynamic setting, engaging in various project stages – from prototyping and service design to information design, workshop facilitation, and user research.
• We value designers who prioritize user experience and visual aesthetics, and are adept at wearing multiple hats to deliver a delightful user experience. The ideal candidate for this role has a background in creating community-centric consumer products.
• All applications for product design must include links to work samples or a portfolio.
• Possess a minimum of 8+ years of experience in product design, with a portion dedicated to consumer product design
• Demonstrate expertise in mobile app and web app design
• Exhibit the ability to address intricate user and design challenges
• Have a discerning eye for visual design
• Show interest in qualitative and quantitative data, emphasizing the importance of making decisions based on real data
• Demonstrate an ownership mentality by proactively conducting research, guiding engineers to achieve precise outcomes, and translating research insights into actionable steps
• Know when to apply the appropriate level of detail to your work, while being mindful of deadlines and deliverables to effectively communicate your solutions
