Senior Product Designer

📋 Description

• Take the lead in designing CAD and PLM/PDM features from start to finish, including geometry workflows, BOM management, and engineering change processes.

• Transform intricate technical requirements into user-friendly interfaces and interactions.

• Manage design systems and patterns to ensure uniformity, scalability, and accessibility across various platforms.

• Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and UX Researchers to establish product vision, user requirements, and design strategy.

• Shape the future product roadmap based on user insights, data, and design principles.

• Organize cross-functional workshops and design reviews to align teams and foster innovation.

• Create prototypes and conduct usability tests to validate design choices.

• Ensure that designs adhere to performance, accessibility, and security standards and advocate for design excellence throughout the development process.

• Mentor junior designers and contribute to a culture of feedback, learning, and continual growth.

• Stay updated on new design tools, technologies, and methodologies and operate in Agile environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and prototyping platforms.

• Sound knowledge of CAD workflows, PLM/PDM systems, and SaaS product design.

• Experience in designing for complex systems, including microservices and RESTful APIs.

• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) and design handoff procedures.

• Ability to balance user needs, technical limitations, and business objectives effectively.

• Excellent communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management abilities.

• Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or related field (Master’s preferred).

• Over 7 years of experience in product design with a portfolio demonstrating complex, scalable solutions.

• Experience working in Agile teams and collaborating with global stakeholders.

• Previous exposure to CAD/CAM or enterprise software design is a significant advantage.
