Senior Product Designer

📋 Description

• Understand user needs, behaviours, and their decision-making processes

• Design responsive, multi-platform WCAG compliant wireframes that meet user needs and business goals

• Support storytelling through visual content that resonates with our target audience

• Own a low friction, iterative design hand-off process and collaborate with Engineering through the development process

• Generate and conduct usability testing and apply feedback to future iterations of feature designs

• Identify changes and features that will improve the user experience within the context of business goals

• Collaborate closely across time zones with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Content and other stakeholders to translate business objectives and user goals into impactful design strategies

• Maintain brand guidelines and work with Marketing to ensure consistency across all touchpoints

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design, Product design, or related fields

• Bachelor’s degree in related field

• Proficiency in Figma, UI component libraries, and living design systems

• Ability to see the big picture and understand the holistic impact of design decisions

• Strong visual design sensibilities

• A thorough understanding of responsive web design, iOS, and Android platforms

• An understanding of how HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and APIs work would be an asset (No coding will be required)

• Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively in a remote environment

• Excellent communication skills to articulate design decisions effectively

• A portfolio that showcases your design process + work from start to finish for multiple projects
