• Narvar is currently expanding and seeking a seasoned Senior Staff Product Designer to play a pivotal role in shaping the design landscape at Narvar. This senior position will tackle our most intricate product and organizational hurdles, influencing our overall strategy and enhancing our design methodology.
• As a Senior Staff Product Designer, you will collaborate closely with the Senior Director of Product Design to establish and implement a unified, platform-focused design vision for the Narvar product suite. Going beyond individual product segments, you will spearhead the development of foundational frameworks and principles to facilitate the scalability of our entire design team.
• Design the overarching vision: Define, communicate, and champion the long-term design vision and strategy for the complete Narvar product range, inspiring teams and impacting the company-wide roadmap.
• Address foundational challenges: Confront the most ambiguous and technically demanding issues the company encounters, establishing essential design frameworks and principles to empower other teams in delivering top-notch experiences at scale.
• Collaborate with senior leadership: Engage directly with the heads of Product and Engineering to ensure that design plays a pivotal role in company strategy, rather than solely being a product development component.
• Expand the design team: Guide and nurture our most senior designers (including Staff-level designers), serving as a key figure in advancing our team processes and culture.
• Champion design: Act as the foremost authority and advocate for design within the organization, conveying a compelling narrative about its significance, potential, and future at Narvar.
• Oversee company-wide systems: Take charge of establishing, adopting, and governing company-wide design principles, patterns, and systems that will define Narvar's user experience for years to come.
• 10+ years of experience in product design, with a portfolio showcasing demonstrable leadership in shaping design strategies for entire product lines or companies.
• Outstanding business acumen: Displaying exceptional product thinking skills, you adeptly balance user requirements with business objectives. You devise and utilize frameworks to bring clarity to complex strategic issues.
• Influential communicator: A skilled relationship builder, you can influence outcomes without formal authority and foster consensus among senior executives. You understand when to push and when to support to achieve optimal results.
