Senior UX Designer

📋 Description

• Work closely with diverse teams such as product, engineering, and data science to gather requirements and transform them into detailed design specifications and documentation

• Conduct thorough quantitative and qualitative research to inform design decisions, shape product strategy, and assess the impact of UX enhancements

• Craft engaging narratives that spotlight user challenges and opportunities for product advancement, leveraging real data, industry insights, and user input

• Produce wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity mockups, and interaction flows to effectively convey design concepts

• Ensure all designs adhere to WCAG accessibility standards for optimal usability by individuals with varied abilities

• Present design concepts and their rationale to stakeholders, emphasizing the significance of user-centered design

• Offer feedback, mentorship, and support to fellow UX designers, nurturing a culture of continuous learning and development within the team

• Assist in establishing and refining Roadie's Baseline design system

• Contribute to enhancing the UX team's processes, frameworks, and culture to align with established protocols

• Stay informed about industry trends, tools, and emerging technologies, leveraging this knowledge to enhance product and design practices

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess 5+ years of experience in user experience and product design across diverse platforms such as web, iOS, and Android

• Demonstrate a strong curiosity and passion for problem-solving

• Ability to independently manage and lead projects while upholding proper design and research processes

• Display a unique talent for solving complex problems with simple and engaging solutions

• Proficient in the end-to-end UX process, from identifying customer needs to delivering exceptional experiences

• Strong visual design skills and product thinking for mobile-focused experiences

• Proficiency in Figma, capable of creating intricate components and prototypes

• Possess a systems thinking approach, connecting insights across the entire Roadie ecosystem

• Strong communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills to ideate and articulate design concepts effectively

• Ability to present design concepts clearly to stakeholders and incorporate feedback to enhance user experience

• Showcase a portfolio demonstrating outstanding visual craftsmanship and systematic thinking
