• Take the lead in overseeing the UX design process for one or more game titles, from the initial concept to launch and ongoing support;
• Ensure a seamless transition from design objectives and features to outstanding user experiences;
• Establish guidelines for the art team to create exceptional assets;
• Advocate for your UX designs across various departments and leadership levels, to secure approval and alignment for the product;
• Develop and refine wireframes, prototypes, and player flows that shape the game's user experience;
• Conduct user research, competitive analysis, and usability tests to comprehend player needs and behaviors;
• Continuously enhance designs based on player feedback and data-driven insights;
• Collaborate with UI artists, Game Designers, Developers, and Production to deliver a cohesive and polished final user experience;
• Proactively resolve issues and enhance game design with UX-focused solutions;
• Prioritize the end-user, ensuring accessibility, clarity, and engagement across all player interactions;
• Effectively communicate design choices through visuals, examples, and prototypes;
• Contribute to establishing and upholding UX standards and best practices across the studio;
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and evolving player experience methodologies.
• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in UX design within the game industry with multiple successful titles in the mobile sector;
• Previous hands-on experience in UX development across various games, platforms, and user input methods (e.g., touch, controller, mouse & keyboard, motion control);
• Impressive portfolio showcasing expertise in user experience design, player flow optimization, and problem-solving in interactive settings;
• Proficiency in modern design and prototyping tools like Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or equivalent;
• Thorough understanding of game design principles and their impact on player experience;
• Experience in conducting and applying insights from user research, usability testing, and player data;
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, iterative development environment;
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and storytelling skills, capable of clearly articulating design decisions and rationale;
• Bachelor's degree in User Experience, Graphic Design, or a related field;
• Background in game design or UI art experience.
