• Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to define and implement user-centered design solutions.
• Creating wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes that effectively communicate design concepts.
• Providing mentorship to human-centered designers, service designers, and researchers as necessary.
• Possession of a Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in UX design and research, particularly in a federal consulting or government setting
• Demonstrated proficiency in research methodologies like interviews, surveys, usability testing, and ethnographic studies
• Proven capability to lead research strategy and execution for multiple projects concurrently
• Confidence in applying user-centered design principles and methodologies
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills for synthesizing complex data into actionable insights
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively in team environments and build relationships with clients and stakeholders
• Familiarity with utilizing and contributing to design systems
• Experience in implementing accessibility standards
• Desirable: Experience conducting user tests with assistive technology users
