Staff Product Designer - Core Platform & Product Led Growth

📋 Description

• Take the lead in crafting seamless end-to-end experiences for the core platform, encompassing licensing, metering, admin/login processes, notifications, API utilization, integration frameworks, and developer portals, to create a user-friendly and adaptable ecosystem.

• Innovate and refine product-driven growth funnels, such as onboarding, activation, feature exploration, and self-service expansion, utilizing data and experiments to enhance user journeys.

• Collaborate with various teams (Product Management, Platform Engineering, Growth Marketing, User Research) to grasp user requirements, technical limitations, business needs, and growth metrics, offering inventive, user-centric solutions for core platform and growth projects.

• Deliver top-notch materials: wireframes, user flows, interactive prototypes, architectural diagrams (from a UX standpoint), and engaging presentation decks to convey design rationale, user insights, and growth hypotheses effectively to stakeholders.

• Incorporate user and developer feedback, A/B test outcomes, and business demands into ongoing product enhancements to ensure continual progress and a noticeable impact on growth.

• Mentor and steer fellow designers, enhancing the skill and influence of the design team, especially in platform and growth design methodologies.

• Coordinate cross-functional workshops to define project prerequisites, user narratives, and technical specifications for core platform features and growth experiments.

• Contribute to and expand our design system, guaranteeing uniformity, scalability, and compliance with brand standards across all platform and growth touchpoints.

⛳️ Requirements

• Showcase a robust portfolio illustrating expertise in crafting core platform experiences (APIs, integrations, developer tools, foundational UI components) and/or product-driven growth initiatives (onboarding flows, activation, feature adoption).

• Possess 7+ years of experience in product or UX design within intricate, cross-functional organizations, ideally in B2B SaaS, enterprise software, or platform environments with a focus on developer experience (DX) or growth design.

• Demonstrate experience in designing for data-intensive software in cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, or related platform sectors is highly desirable.

• Proficient in Figma, with a history of expanding component libraries and adhering to design system guidelines.

• Collaborate effectively with user research teams to deeply comprehend user and developer objectives and pain points, translating insights into actionable design solutions and testable hypotheses.

• Possess strong storytelling abilities to champion user and developer requirements, influence platform product strategy, and articulate growth prospects.

• Familiarity with the distinct requirements of platform developers, system integrators, technical partners, and enterprise administrators.

• Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills, with a proven track record of steering design direction in fast-paced, highly technical settings.
