📋 Description

• Lead and take ownership of Crypto design, influencing product roadmap and strategy discussions

• Understand customer investment needs, empowering both new and experienced crypto investors with tools and knowledge

• Collaborate with engineering, data science, and product management to find practical design solutions

• Develop multiple concepts and prototypes, knowing when to focus on high-fidelity details or low-fidelity sketches

• Conduct user research to create effective product strategies and solutions

• Utilize data to guide design decisions and solutions

• Ensure UX efforts align with strategic vision and goals

• Mentor and develop Designers to elevate design quality organization-wide

• Establish expertise in crypto and on-chain technologies to influence product decisions

• Stay updated on industry trends and innovative technologies to enhance product design

• Collaborate with the Investing team to shape Wealthsimple's crypto offering and deliver high-quality products

• Passion and knowledge of the web3 ecosystem

• Expertise in product design, including motion and interaction design

• Experience in designing and launching consumer-facing products (mobile and web)

• Ability to simplify complex problems into user-friendly experiences

• Understanding of the collaboration between design, product, and engineering for efficient and scalable experiences

• Strong communication skills to convey ideas and project direction to internal teams and stakeholders

• Experience leading user research studies to gain valuable insights

• Independent work ethic with a focus on driving projects forward
