Staff Product Designer, Investing

📋 Description

• Gain insight into the investment needs of our clients, empowering both novice and experienced investors with the tools and knowledge necessary to make informed decisions

• Collaborate closely with engineering, data science, and product management to develop refined yet practical solutions to design challenges

• Generate multiple concepts and prototypes, knowing when detailed attention is required and when basic sketches are sufficient for visualizing concepts

• Incorporate user feedback to craft the appropriate product strategy and discover solutions that excite our clients

• Utilize data to guide design solutions and ensure all UX endeavors align with the strategic direction and vision

• Elevate design quality standards through mentoring and nurturing Designers within your expertise

• Specialize in Stock & Option Trading and stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies

• Collaborate with the Investing team, working closely with engineering and product teams to influence the future of the Brokerage product and provide exceptional experiences to customers

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong interest or background in Trading and simplifying services for all individuals

• Proficient in product design, capable of delivering thoughtful, polished experiences, including motion and interaction design

• Track record of designing and launching consumer-facing products

• Ability to simplify complex problems into user-friendly experiences

• Understanding of how design, product, and engineering collaborate to deliver high-quality experiences efficiently and at scale

• Effective communication skills to convey ideas and project direction to internal teams and stakeholders

• Experience conducting research studies to gather user insights

• Independent worker with a proactive approach to driving projects forward

• Portfolio and resume showcasing experience in solving ambiguous problems, consumer-facing (mobile and web) projects, impact, and use of insights to make user-centric decisions
