• Opendoor seeks a Staff Product Designer to contribute to shaping the future of our consumer experience.

• Make a significant impact on the business by revolutionizing our core selling and buying processes.

• We value designers who prioritize people and processes over pixels, engaging in hands-on customer research.

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Research, and Operations to design and prototype the future end-to-end customer journey.

• Partner with Research to conduct user interviews, identify pain points, and prioritize product enhancements.

• Independently conduct lightweight research to guide design decisions.

• Create information architecture diagrams, wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes for features.

• Present your design rationale to stakeholders and your team.

• Validate the feasibility of your work with Product, Engineering, and Operations to ensure high-quality implementation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience as an individual contributor on an internal product design team.

• Showcase a portfolio featuring native and/or web projects that demonstrate problem-solving approaches and solutions. Case studies should showcase skills in research, user experience, visual design, and interaction design.

• Proficient in Figma, utilizing essential design elements and rich, interactive prototyping within Figma or tools like Framer.

• Strong communication and storytelling abilities, both in writing and verbally, with a defined design process.

• Experience collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Research to shape broader product strategies.

• Bonus points for experience mentoring Product Design team members, building design systems collaboratively, and understanding front-end frameworks like Angular and React.
