• Stablecoins & Payments are a key focus for Coinbase and a major growth driver for 2025.
• Collaborate strategically with Product, Engineering, and UX Research to shape team strategy, product choices, and roadmap priorities.
• Take charge of the complete user experience and oversee all design aspects from inception, concept creation, prototyping, user testing, to final production.
• Work closely with our Design Systems team to develop scalable design frameworks and solutions.
• Establish and supervise the design aspect for your product domain.
• Offer guidance and design input to other members of the design team.
• Minimum of 10 years of Product Design expertise, encompassing fintech and B2B exposure
• Demonstrated history of effectively leading the design function within a product area
• Proficiency in overseeing the complete design process from initial concept to final execution
• Mastery of design skills including visual and interaction design, prototyping, and adherence to UX best practices
• Ability to collaborate strategically with UX Research, Product, and Engineering to steer and impact product decisions and strategies
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
• Humble and receptive to feedback
• Experience working with APIs
• Familiarity with cryptocurrencies, including knowledge of onchain activities like Ethereum interactions, ENS usage, and engagement with dApps or blockchain-based services
