Associate Creative Director

📋 Description

• Take charge of and carry out exceptional design work on critical projects, being hands-on when necessary

• Offer guidance and valuable feedback to a growing team of designers and copywriters, promoting excellence in their craft and continuous growth

• Drive the advancement of Earnest’s visual identity and design frameworks, ensuring uniformity and rigor in every interaction point

• Collaborate with various teams such as Product, Growth, and Marketing to create innovative solutions that align with business goals and resonate with customers

• Supervise and manage agency and contractor collaborations, ensuring top-notch creativity in all external partnerships

• Blend strategic insights and extensive business acumen with creative excellence to create visual frameworks and campaigns that connect with audiences across all marketing touchpoints

• Lead the conceptualization and implementation of inventive design and copy solutions that boost consumer engagement measurably while preserving the brand's unique perspective

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of design experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role overseeing creative teams

• Demonstrated portfolio featuring comprehensive brand campaigns and technical design executions with tangible business outcomes

• Outstanding leadership, mentoring, and team management abilities

• Proficient in design tools like Figma and Adobe Creative Suite

• Strong storytelling and presentation skills, capable of influencing senior stakeholders

• Thorough comprehension of marketing channels and metrics

• Strategic thinker with a keen eye for design systems and a proven track record of translating business objectives into compelling visual narratives

• Collaborative mindset with experience collaborating closely with writers, producers, marketers, and researchers

• Comfortable presenting to leadership and hands-on experience in Figma

• Bonus points for familiarity with photography, motion animation, or video; knowledge of emerging tools (AI, automation); and experience in regulated industries
