• We are looking for a seasoned product design leader to lead the development and expansion of our design team.
• You will lead a team of six highly skilled product designers.
• Reporting to our Chief Product Officer, you will collaborate closely with various departments to promote design excellence throughout the organization.
• While this role thrives on in-person collaboration in San Francisco, exceptional candidates from the United States and Canada are also welcome.
• Minimum of 12 years of product design experience, including at least 6 years managing and growing product design teams
• Demonstrated success as a director-level design leader in rapidly expanding enterprise/B2B software firms with exceptional design standards (experience in financial or investment technology is advantageous)
• Curiosity and willingness to explore innovative approaches with AI-centric design tools to revolutionize the software design and development process
• Experience in expanding design teams (5-20+ members) while upholding high standards for quality and team culture
• Strong personal standards for visual, interaction, content, and other design aspects, and the ability to establish empathy with users
• Capability to foster a positive design culture within the team and across the organization
• Background in creating and managing design systems in complex product environments
• Proven track record of enhancing product experiences to deliver measurable business results
• Impressive portfolio showcasing the progression from an individual contributor designer to a influential design leader with exceptional design skills
