Senior Product Designer - Design Systems

📋 Description

• Take the lead in developing a versatile, inclusive, and scalable design system from scratch to ensure uniformity and expandability across all product interfaces

• Establish a robust Figma framework (tokens, libraries, patterns) for seamless integration across mobile and web platforms, complete with comprehensive documentation on component and pattern utilization

• Work closely with Engineering and Product teams to maintain consistency between Figma and code, emphasizing UI performance, offline resilience, and accessibility

• Collaborate with the Director of Product Design to expand a impactful, user-centric design methodology

• Provide guidance and mentorship to fellow designers within the team

• Present design concepts and reasoning to stakeholders, advocating for customer requirements while aligning with business objectives

• Utilize data-driven techniques to validate design choices and enhance product features

• Stay abreast of emerging AI trends and introduce innovative ideas and best practices to enhance Fullbay's design approach

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess over 5 years of experience in product design, with at least 2 years focusing on large-scale design systems

• Have a background in mobile-first and/or fieldwork settings (SaaS, logistics, tools)

• Enjoy establishing foundations from the ground up and can strike a balance between idealism and practicality

• Proficient in tokens, accessibility standards (WCAG), and component libraries

• Strong familiarity with Figma, Auto Layout, and plugin workflows

• Flourish in uncertain environments and contribute to shaping team dynamics
