• Take the lead in UX and product design for LeanTaaS’s healthcare operations software, overseeing the entire product lifecycle from discovery to launch and ongoing enhancements.
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to align on vision, conduct research, prototype solutions, and drive implementation through development phases.
• Utilize AI tools such as ChatGPT and Figma Make to streamline workflows and explore innovative solutions.
• Drive interaction design, research activities, design system contributions, strategic initiatives, leadership efforts, transparency, and cross-functional collaborations.
• Participate in the hiring process which includes an initial call with the Head of Design, 3–4 team interviews, and optional meetings with other stakeholders.
• Please note that this is a remote role, but currently, we are only hiring in specific U.S. states; our offices are located in Santa Clara, CA and Charlotte, NC.
• Proficiency in interaction design, including creating user flows, sketches, diagrams, and high-level concepts to align with stakeholders and customers. Strong understanding of accessibility principles is essential.
• Experience in research methodologies, including planning and conducting user interviews, usability tests, surveys, and data reviews. Skilled at synthesizing insights into practical design solutions.
• Ability to contribute to and maintain a shared Figma library, collaborate with engineers on component design, and ensure the design system remains grounded, flexible, and cohesive.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Directors to define design work scope, shape quarterly plans, run workshops, lead concepting, and value-test new ideas with customers. Constantly seek innovative solutions to complex healthcare challenges.
• Lead design efforts for a product team or initiative, mentor junior designers, share knowledge through various channels, and maintain transparent communication with cross-functional teammates.
• Foster communication and collaboration with PMs, engineers, end users, and analysts to align on goals and drive towards shared outcomes.
• Find intellectual and emotional satisfaction in solving challenging operational issues in healthcare, while enhancing patient access and positively impacting lives.
