• Take charge of the UI and Interaction Design Process by designing and enhancing user interfaces and interactions from concept to usability testing, ensuring alignment with product requirements and user needs.
• Conduct User Research & Testing to guide design decisions and enhance the overall user experience.
• Drive divergent thinking and ideation to explore a wide range of UI and interaction design ideas, considering multiple options in the design process.
• Utilize critical reasoning to challenge assumptions, evaluate design solutions, and justify choices with clear, logical reasoning backed by qualitative and quantitative evidence.
• Implement experiment-focused designs by quickly prototyping small experiments for testing hypotheses and iterative design cycles.
• Develop various design artifacts such as wireframes, storyboards, user flows, sitemaps, and prototypes.
• Contribute to the development and upkeep of the design system and style guides to ensure consistency across the platform and products.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to translate user needs and business requirements into functional designs.
• Actively participate in team design critiques and feedback sessions to elevate UI solutions quality across the team.
• Advocate for user-centered design practices and champion user needs within the company.
• Stay updated on industry trends, conduct competitive analysis, and explore new approaches to UX design and testing.
• Clearly articulate design choices to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Travel occasionally (5-10%) for activities such as visiting customer sites or attending conferences.
• Hold a Degree or Diploma in UI Design, Digital Design, Engineering, or a related field.
• Possess 5+ years of UI design experience, including creating solutions for web and desktop applications.
• **Data Driven:** Demonstrate experience in working with quantitative data to track key metrics and derive actionable insights.
• **Design Leadership:** Showcase experience in UI design, including leadership or senior-level positions.
• **Visual Communication:** Ability to convey ideas and design intent visually to ensure understanding by users and stakeholders.
• **Visual Design Principles:** Strong grasp of foundational visual design principles to create clear, intuitive, and visually engaging user interfaces.
• **Communication:** Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration and design solution presentations.
• **Problem-solving:** Ability to identify UI challenges and craft visually compelling, user-centered interface solutions for enhanced usability, accessibility, and consistency.
