• Lead large-scale and intricate design projects, establish and enhance UX design processes, and mentor junior designers; actively seek and provide feedback from designers and the wider product team to enhance quality.
• Design within a complex application ecosystem to ensure a consistent, compelling, and immersive customer experience across Experian's responsive websites and native mobile apps (iOS and Android).
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and other stakeholders on product requirements.
• Develop design deliverables and specifications such as user journeys, storyboards, interaction models, process flows, information architecture, wireframes, and prototypes based on iterative UX research and usability testing.
• Create solutions that are scalable and adaptable as product functionality and content evolve with changing user requirements.
• Contribute to usability testing efforts through prototyping to ensure projects are aligned with user needs and business objectives.
• Interpret qualitative and quantitative research data, our goals, and requirements, and translate them into functional designs.
• Bachelor's degree in Visual Design, Interaction Design/UX, or a related field from an accredited four-year university or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in research, UX, and product design.
• Strong portfolio showcasing previous work is essential.
• Understanding of front-end application development in relation to design.
• Experience in a product organization, guiding products from ideation through launch and subsequent releases.
• Willingness to take guidance from design leadership and ability to justify design decisions when necessary.
• Experience in designing customer-facing applications in financial, investment, insurance, or similar industries.
• Proficiency in Figma, Jira, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Knowledge of service design, design systems, and Agile methodologies.
• Proficient in prototyping to aid in problem understanding, concept testing, and communication with teams and clients.
