• Lead the development of KnowBe4's flagship product experience strategy in collaboration with Product Management, Engineering, and UX Research, focusing on identifying and solving the right problems before designing solutions.
• Work closely with UX Research to define problem statements, validate assumptions, and gain valuable customer insights.
• Collaborate with product team members to research, design, and prototype ideas, ensuring solutions are identified, refined, and validated for customer issues.
• Establish consistent discovery practices, incorporating customer engagement and user data into the design process regularly.
• Design with measurable success in mind, defining outcomes and working with Product Management and Data teams to track success metrics using various tools.
• Engage with engineering teams globally to ensure high-quality design implementation, support meeting delivery timelines, and balance technical feasibility with design goals.
• Work with the Design Ops Team to maintain KnowBe4's Design System, enhancing the brand and upholding visual and interaction quality.
• Promote UX principles throughout the organization, advocating for thoughtful design and customer-centric approaches.
• Contribute to and enhance UX team processes and ceremonies, including design critiques, collaboration sessions, and experience reviews.
• Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience, or Master's degree with 3 years of experience.
• Degree in Design, UX, HCI, or a related field.
• 3+ years of UX design experience in enterprise-level organizations with multiple products.
• Strong background in framing and solving complex design challenges using qualitative and quantitative insights.
• Proficiency in UX design, research collaboration, strategy, and implementation.
• Experience collaborating with distributed engineering teams, knowledge of front-end frameworks, style sheets, and design tokens.
• Detail-oriented and able to transition seamlessly between conceptual design and detailed execution.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, comfortable presenting work, telling a design story, and giving/receiving feedback.
• Passion for design systems, operational excellence, and scalable design practices in partnership with DesignOps.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and proactive in driving design quality and impact across teams.
