• Oversee and maintain a consistent artistic style in line with the game's creative vision.
• Offer clear and valuable feedback to both internal and external artists and collaborators.
• Collaborate with the Technical Art Director to create and enhance art pipelines that balance visual appeal and performance.
• Uphold visual quality standards through daily reviews and milestone approvals.
• Lead and nurture internal and external art teams, encouraging growth and teamwork.
• Coordinate with Production and Leads to ensure timely achievement of quality goals and deadlines.
• Compile and present feedback for internal and external assessments.
• Actively participate in the recruitment and assessment of new talent for the art department.
• Minimum of 8–10 years' experience in AAA console/PC game development, with leadership or directing roles.
• Involvement in the complete delivery of at least one released AAA title.
• Portfolio showcasing strong artistic creativity in various game areas.
• Proficiency in 2D art and design, particularly in Photoshop.
• Familiarity with 3D software (Maya, 3ds Max, Blender, ZBrush) and Illustrator.
• Strong grasp of composition, anatomy, and art theory principles.
• Technical aptitude and experience in integrating art assets into game engines.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Proven track record of mentoring and motivating a diverse team.
• Proficiency in tools such as Photoshop, Maya, 3ds Max, Blender, ZBrush, Illustrator, and presentation software.
