• We are in search of a skilled and seasoned Art Director specializing in Events & Activations to enhance Deel's brand presence across various platforms. This role plays a crucial part in defining how Deel is perceived and remembered by the world, from impactful brand activations to strategic SKO experiences and global field marketing.
• As a vital creative leader in the Brand & Creative team, you will be responsible for establishing the visual and experiential direction of our event programs. Collaboration with internal teams (Field Marketing, Sales, Product Marketing, etc.) and external partners is essential to create immersive, distinctive, and unforgettable brand experiences that foster awareness, engagement, and business growth.
• We seek a hands-on creative individual capable of envisioning grand ideas and bringing them to life. Proficiency in storytelling through space, interaction, and environment is key, along with the ability to execute them beautifully.
• Lead the development of original event concepts, themes, and creative visions that redefine B2B brand experience and align with strategic goals.
• Provide strong visual direction and guidance to internal creatives, freelancers, agencies, and production partners to ensure high-quality, on-brand execution across all touchpoints.
• Oversee the development of all creative assets needed for event environments, from signage and spatial design to motion, video, interactive elements, and more.
• Drive creative experimentation across various formats, including new technologies such as AR/VR, AI-driven interactions, to enhance engagement.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders from different business units to ensure creative solutions meet objectives and KPIs.
• Present creative concepts to partners and senior stakeholders, effectively communicating the vision and rationale.
• Manage the creative process from brief to execution, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with the vision.
• Stay abreast of trends in events, experiential marketing, and creative technology to bring fresh ideas and elevate the Deel experience.
• 7–10+ years of experience in creative roles, with a focus on events, experiential marketing, and activations (agency or in-house).
• Impressive portfolio showcasing concept-driven event work, brand activations, and immersive experiences that drive business outcomes.
• Ability to lead creative teams and external partners while actively contributing hands-on.
• Profound understanding of spatial design, storytelling through experience, and audience-centric approach.
• Familiarity with emerging technologies like AR/VR, generative AI, and their impact on brand experiences.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and experience working with marketing, sales, and production teams.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and other relevant design tools.
