• As the Director of Product Design at DISCO, you will lead a team of talented product designers to craft exceptional user experiences and innovative design solutions. Your role is crucial in shaping DISCO's design strategy and vision, ensuring the creation of compelling and user-centric products.
• Responsibilities include defining design direction, collaborating with cross-functional leaders, driving innovation, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Strategic Design Vision & Excellence: Develop and communicate a strategic design vision for the product suite, aligning with overall business goals. Maintain high standards for design quality to deliver a consistent and exceptional user experience.
• Design System Leadership: Oversee the development and evolution of design systems to ensure consistency and efficiency in design workflows.
• User Research & Insights: Advocate for user research initiatives to gather insights that drive design decisions and enhance the overall user experience.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with product management, engineering, and stakeholders to seamlessly integrate design solutions within the product development lifecycle.
• 8-10+ years of experience in product design, with at least 5 years in a leadership or director-level position.
• Demonstrated success in leading product design teams.
• Experience managing design teams in a dynamic and fast-paced setting.
• Background working on consumer-facing products or complex enterprise-level applications.
• In-depth knowledge of user-centered design principles and best practices.
• Strong strategic thinking and decision-making abilities.
