Director, Product Design – XAM & AI

📋 Description

• Develop a comprehensive design strategy for Extended Access Management (XAM) and AI product suite for the long term

• Lead and nurture the design teams responsible for delivering exceptional XAM and AI product experiences

• Create program-level plans that bridge strategy with execution for the next 12–18 months

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, GTM, Research, and Data teams to shape product roadmaps

• Advocate for customer needs and integrate empathy, simplicity, and security into product decisions

• Establish and guide a high-performing design organization through mentorship

• Represent 1Password within design, security, and AI communities externally

• Promote design at the executive level and drive measurable results

• Drive AI adoption and experimentation within the Product & Design organization

• Take products from concept to launch in innovative environments

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of leadership experience in B2B SaaS product design, preferably in cybersecurity, identity, or enterprise platforms

• At least 3 years of experience working on AI, developer, or platform-related products is highly preferred

• Proven track record of successfully launching impactful security and/or AI-enabled products

• In-depth knowledge of identity and access management, authentication trends, and platform technologies

• Demonstrated expertise in recruiting, coaching, and scaling design leaders and individual contributors

• Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to connect insights across different domains

• Exceptional communication and storytelling abilities to influence key stakeholders

• Growth mindset, ownership mentality, and resilience in ambiguous situations

• Must be willing to travel for in-person engagements and events

• Legal authorization to work in the USA or Canada for respective roles
