• The Lead Digital Designer is accountable for creating designs and layouts for standalone use or to support larger print, video, and interactive web projects. This role reports directly to the Web Manager.
• Key responsibilities include communicating with internal and external clients to gather requirements, guiding clients through the design process, organizing and translating design and layout requirements into final deliverables, creating and revising designs following iterative processes, recommending creative approaches, and managing design projects.
• Additionally, the Lead Digital Designer is responsible for developing and maintaining a design library, overseeing art and tool budgets, managing design projects, and maintaining the PSI Style Guide. Staying updated with emerging design trends is also crucial.
• A Bachelor's degree in Digital Design, Fine Art, or Communications (or equivalent experience) is required.
• Candidates should have experience in design usage rights, art budgeting, and production, as well as proficiency in digital design and animation tools such as Adobe Create Suite or equivalent software. Proficiency in MS Office applications is also necessary.
