• Engage in research and analysis: Conduct qualitative and quantitative user research to guide design decisions and pinpoint areas for product enhancement.
• Conceptualize and brainstorm: Develop user flows, wireframes, storyboards, and site maps to effectively convey design concepts and intentions.
• Prototype and validate: Create rough prototypes and carry out usability testing to validate and enhance design ideas based on user input.
• Design and refine: Produce high-fidelity visual designs and interfaces that enhance user experience continuity.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, data analysts, and other stakeholders to define product needs, grasp technical limitations, and ensure a cohesive product vision.
• Champion UX methodologies and expertise in technical environments.
• Advocate for user requirements: Utilize research and data to guarantee our products are user-friendly, accessible, and rooted in genuine user experiences.
• Enhance our design framework: Establish and maintain a design system that promotes accessibility, consistency, and clarity across tools supporting progressive campaigns.
• Supervise and mentor a UX Researcher: Assist a junior UX Researcher in prioritizing tasks, offer regular feedback and guidance, and help them apply best practices in UX research.
• 6–10 years of experience in UX/UI or product design, with a track record of leading design projects and mentoring other designers
• Comprehensive experience in designing digital products from start to finish: involvement in all stages from research and concept creation to interface design, testing, and launch
• Impressive portfolio showcasing impactful, user-centered design projects
• Proficiency in various UX research methods: user interviews, usability testing, surveys, and journey mapping
• Strong UI/interaction design abilities, including wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity design
• Familiarity with design systems, style guides, and maintaining design consistency
• Experience with digital product life cycles: discovery, concept development, design, testing, and delivery
• Ability to simplify complex problems into intuitive, accessible solutions
• Lead design discussions and influence decisions with product managers, engineers, and data scientists
• Oversee a junior designer and support their professional development
