Senior Learning Experience Designer - Technical Trainer

📋 Description

• Collaborate with leadership and senior department members to assess needs and prioritize them based on their impact

• Engage with subject matter experts to define learning objectives, craft learning experiences (both synchronous and asynchronous), and create content tailored to the topic and role requirements. Various learning methods such as coaching, job aids, e-learning, instructor-led sessions, and hands-on activities may be utilized.

• Provide expert consultation on instructional design strategies and technology, offering valuable suggestions and guidance

• Develop assessment methods to measure the effectiveness of learning solutions in meeting objectives. Utilize feedback for continuous enhancement

• Utilize data-driven approaches to assess program efficacy, utilizing analytics for ongoing improvement of learning endeavors

• Lead instructor-led training sessions and workshops, both virtually and in-person

• Contribute to change management efforts through targeted learning interventions that aid organizational transformation

• Utilize research skills to evaluate current and potential technologies and innovative products to enhance the learner's journey

• Stay updated on learning sciences, instructional design principles, and emerging technologies and trends in higher education

• Offer continuous coaching and mentoring to team members to reinforce learning and address skill gaps

• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure training programs align with the latest product capabilities, industry best practices, and meet learner requirements


⛳️ Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Learning Sciences, or a related field

• Have over 5 years of experience designing and developing content and curricula to support enterprise software learning and development initiatives

• Demonstrate exceptional facilitation and presentation skills, effectively engaging diverse audiences

• Exhibit expertise in instructional design methodologies, adult learning theories, and e-learning best practices

• Proficient in learning management systems and e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, and LMS

• Familiarity with certification programs is considered an advantage
