• Pearson is seeking a strategic and hands-on Senior UX Design Director with a strong background in UX/UI product management, focused on innovation and advancement.
• Candidates must have a proven track record of delivering intricate digital products within extensive B2C and B2B environments.
• As an experienced UX leader and respected professional, you have consistently established high standards and implemented industry best practices for UX/UI principles, data-driven consumer research, and UI excellence within your immediate team and broader design organization.
• This role will report to the Senior Vice President of Design and collaborate closely with the Vice President of design for Higher Education on key digital initiatives.
• Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in UX/Interaction Design
• At least 5 years of experience managing design teams of 2 or more individuals or larger teams of 10 or more
• Demonstrated track record of leading innovation and growth initiatives that result in the launch of complex product suites for B2C or B2B enterprises
• Proficiency in developing multi-channel UX/UI solutions, creating engaging prototypes for emerging technologies (e.g., voice, VR, AR, AI), and establishing scalable design frameworks.
• Experience in qualitative and quantitative user research, facilitating workshops, and implementing prioritization frameworks to guide customer-centric product strategies and roadmap decisions.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with product, data, and engineering partners using agile product delivery methodologies
• Proven impact in developing UX/UI toolkits and standards, promoting best practices for efficient product delivery and governance
• Proficiency in utilizing the latest design and prototyping tools (AI-enabled tools are a plus)
