UX/UI Designer

📋 Description

• Transform user requirements and validated product concepts into wireframes, flows, and refined UI elements

• Lead the design process from inception to handover to development, ensuring clarity, coherence, and user-friendliness

• Create adaptable UX designs that are effective on various devices, for both novice and experienced users, in multiple languages

• Work within and enhance a dynamic component-based design system

• Conduct or assist in user research and usability testing, incorporating insights for actionable enhancements

• Organize and manage a structured Figma workspace and design framework

• Develop a scalable design repository and visual style guide to maintain design uniformity aligned with brand standards

• Collaborate with fellow designers and engineers to improve workflow efficiency and document design choices

• Partner closely with Product Managers to deeply comprehend the challenges and shape both problem statements and solutions

• Coordinate with engineers to ensure accurate implementation of designs

• Engage in design iterations, rapid prototyping, user testing, QA handovers, and cross-functional evaluations

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2+ years experience in designing digital products or SaaS applications

• Proficient in interaction design and well-versed in usability best practices

• Proficiency in Figma and component-based design systems

• Portfolio showcasing the ability to translate product objectives into functional, user-centric designs

• Capable of managing workload independently and maintaining productivity in a remote, asynchronous team setting

• Comfortable with testing and utilizing AI solutions to expedite design processes

• Background in EdTech, educational platforms, or creator tools is preferred

• Familiarity with implementing and documenting design libraries is preferred

• Experience collaborating with PMs and engineers in delivery-focused environments is preferred

• Understanding of user-centered design, user testing, rapid prototyping, and QA workflows is preferred
