• Motive supports operational teams with a SaaS platform for safety, operations, and finance, managing drivers, vehicles, equipment, and fleet spending
• As a Web Designer, create impactful UI/UX designs for gomotive.com and maintain a consistent evolving design language
• Collaborate with web strategists, developers, and business stakeholders to design and implement A/B tests, landing pages, and site updates
• Contribute to and uphold the website design system, identifying enhancements and ensuring uniformity
• Develop high-quality visual designs for desktop and mobile devices with a focus on responsive design
• Utilize data, research, and insights to guide design decisions and assess trade-offs
• Translate business needs into customer-centric designs and communicate design rationale to stakeholders
• Manage a workload, enhance processes, and collaborate with developers on QA to ensure release quality
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a web designer (preferably in-house at a rapidly growing SaaS/SW tech company)
• Demonstrated expertise in responsive design and best practices
• Proficient in Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar design tools
• Experience in developing and maintaining modular design systems
• Strong grasp of typography and visual hierarchy
• Familiarity with web accessibility guidelines (WCAG)
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional team members (Web Strategists, Project Managers, Content, Product Marketing Managers, Engineering)
• Experience in preparing design files for developers
• Excellent organizational and project management skills
• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
• Quick adaptability and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Self-motivated and productive within a fully remote team
• Location: Remote, but must be eligible to work within Mexico or Canada
• Portfolio: A strong online portfolio showcasing relevant web design experience is mandatory
