📋 Description

• Utilize skilled interviewing techniques to understand human behavior and customer bias, uncovering underlying needs to inform product decisions.

• Responsible for recruiting educators, students, and parents with sensitivity to consent, privacy, and trust.

• Implement AI tools to scale research efforts, streamline workflows, and synthesize insights from various data sources.

• Collaborate with Product teams to establish and maintain research agendas aligned with business strategy.

• Select and implement qualitative and quantitative research methods, develop research plans, conduct studies, and engage with cross-functional partners.

• Analyze and synthesize research data to provide actionable insights aligned with research objectives.

• Influence product strategy with research-driven insights and promote user-centered decisions.

• Present research findings and recommendations to senior leadership confidently and effectively.

• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities shaping product direction.

• Ensure compliance with regulations and privacy considerations in user recruitment and data collection.

• Cultivate a collaborative culture focused on shared ownership and continuous improvement.

• Perform other assigned duties.


⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of successful experience leading user research projects.

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience; Master’s degree preferred.

• Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative research methods.

• Portfolio demonstrating experience and deliverables in research.

• Familiarity with research/design tools and strong organizational skills.

• Experience collaborating with cross-functional product development teams.

• Strong time management skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work across multiple workstreams and adapt to changing priorities.

• Experience in EdTech or Education fields.

• Master's degree in Human Factors, HCDE, Statistics, or Cognitive Psychology.

• Proficiency with various tools like Jira, Usertesting.com, Qualtrics, Google Analytics, etc.

• Experience in accessibility and inclusive design practices.

• Familiarity with Agile software development and Continuous Discovery.
