• Join us as a Product UI/UX Designer to shape the user experience of CVector's platform, catering to power plant operators managing intricate controls and energy analysts monitoring real-time data.
• Your role involves translating in-depth customer insights into elegant, intuitive, and impactful designs.
• Beyond interface design, you will engage in customer discovery, define product requirements, and collaborate with founders and engineers to bring concepts to fruition.
• Operating across the entire design process, you will have the opportunity to influence product development and company strategy.
• Oversee the complete design process of our web-based SaaS platform, from discovery and wireframing to prototyping and visual design
• Collaborate with founders and engineers to define product features, manage scope tradeoffs, and deliver impactful experiences
• Conduct user research and customer interviews to identify pain points and translate insights into actionable solutions
• Develop design systems and libraries to ensure consistency, usability, and scalability throughout the product
• Work cross-functionally with engineering, product, and customer teams to maintain design excellence from concept to launch
• Travel occasionally to customer locations to understand real-world usage scenarios and validate product direction
• New graduates may need to relocate to Providence or the New York City area
• Possess relevant degree(s) or equivalent professional experience showcasing a solid foundation in product and UI/UX design
• Showcase a strong portfolio featuring thoughtful, user-centered design for complex digital products
• Demonstrate experience in designing for technical users or systems with real-time data and workflows using Figma
• Proficient in design systems, responsive design, and cross-platform usability principles
• Comfortable with ambiguity, rapid iterations, and balancing product vision with technical feasibility
• Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks and effective collaboration with engineers
• Possess excellent communication skills and a proactive mindset
• Display flexibility and willingness to travel domestically and internationally

• Anticipated salary range for U.S.-based candidates: $75,000 to $120,000 per year
