• Subzero Labs is in the process of developing advanced decentralized infrastructure.
• We are in search of a skilled Product Designer & UX Researcher to establish groundbreaking user experiences at the convergence of Web3 and AI.
• Responsibilities include identifying user needs, devising innovative interaction models, and collaborating closely with product and engineering teams to provide outstanding digital experiences.
• Conduct various research methods such as user interviews, diary studies, A/B tests, and analytics.
• Recognize challenges associated with common web3 practices like liveness, safety, privacy, self-custody, etc.
• Utilize frameworks and techniques like Jobs-to-be-Done, user personas, user-centered design, discovery, and framing to define insights and personas.
• Develop unique user interactions and flows, including those assisted by AI.
• Produce wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs prioritizing user satisfaction over obstacles.
• Collaborate daily with Product Managers and Engineers to define features and experiences.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in creating and launching digital products (web & mobile)
• At least 2 years of specific experience in Web3 environments
• Proficiency in mixed-methods research - ability to select appropriate research methods and balance quantitative data with qualitative insights
• Comprehensive design portfolio showcasing the entire process from research insights to implemented features with measurable results
• Demonstrated expertise in using AI throughout the product design process
• Advanced knowledge of design systems, including component-driven design, variants, auto-layout, and design tokens in Figma or similar tools
• Fluency in Web3 technical aspects such as signing, gas fees, MEV, zero-knowledge proofs, and trusted execution environments
• Strong communication skills for written specifications, video presentations, and asynchronous design feedback
• Collaborative approach with a willingness to receive feedback and a team-oriented mindset
• Experience in designing data-intensive interfaces or trading platforms
• Background in fintech product design
• Familiarity with Web3 developer tools and SVM developer stack
• Knowledge of emerging AI interaction patterns including agentic flows, explainability, and prompt UX design
