• Enhance the user interface of our website by incorporating usability, user experience principles, and business requirements.
• Develop wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interactions and design concepts.
• Conduct user research and analyze feedback to improve the overall user experience.
• Manage all visual design phases from initial concept to final hand-off to engineering.
• Optimize all online user experience elements for enhanced usability, functionality, and exceptional visual design.
• Establish and enforce design guidelines, best practices, and standards.
• Test and refine UI/UX designs based on user feedback and analytics.
• Keep abreast of the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in UX/UI design, capable of working independently as the sole designer.
• Excellent communication skills for conducting stakeholder interviews and research.
• Previous work on digital products aimed at youth, designing engaging, playful, and age-appropriate interfaces for children or teenagers.
• Must have experience with gamification.
• Ability to collaborate with engineers, product managers, and subject matter experts to create effective, user-friendly experiences.
• Capable of owning the UX vision with minimal supervision, working autonomously, and making design decisions in uncertain situations.
• Involvement in user research and testing, and close partnership with parents, teachers, and children.
