• As a Senior UI/UX Designer at First Principles, you will collaborate with a dynamic, AI-focused product team, tackling diverse projects for a dedicated client in fast-paced one-week sprints.
• Your role will involve creating modern user experiences utilizing AI to elevate your design work, transforming intricate business requirements into intuitive, visually appealing interfaces that define the evolution of digital products.
• Generate innovative designs with the potential to go viral due to their unique appearance and functionality
• Utilize AI tools to streamline your design process, including image generation, animation, copywriting, and leveraging Figma AI features
• Develop high-quality designs and prototypes in Figma, incorporating components, auto-layout, and animations
• Lead rapid prototyping sessions, updating designs in real-time during client workshops
• Oversee the entire design process from research to final UI design
• Establish and maintain a design system to ensure project consistency and scalability
• Document AI-enhanced design processes to facilitate training for new team members
• Participate in client meetings to share insights and pose valuable questions
• Require 5+ years of UI/UX design experience in product-oriented settings
• Possess expert proficiency in Figma and contemporary design tools
• Demonstrate competence in using AI tools to enhance design workflows
• Exhibit fluent English communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Be able to work during U.S. hours (9am-5pm in any U.S. timezone)
• Location must be based in South/Central America
• Showcase a strong portfolio featuring user-centric solutions and transparent design processes
• Demonstrate the ability to work autonomously or collaboratively within a design team
• Have experience in rapid prototyping and iterative design methods
• Background in B2B SaaS, productivity tools, Ed-Tech, or consumer-facing digital products
• Possess a degree in HCI, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, or a related field
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks and technical feasibility considerations
• Independent Contractor role offering full-time support (40 hours/week)
• Fully remote position, allowing you to work from any location as long as U.S. hours are accommodated
