Senior UI/UX Designer

📋 Description

• Responsible for information architecture, interaction design, and UI of client websites and web apps

• Create detailed user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity interfaces for testing and developer handoff

• Develop, test, and refine prototypes of varying fidelity in collaboration with engineering

• Lead end-to-end website experiences including marketing and product/microsites

• Translate brand strategy into systematized UI elements

• Maintain and enhance design system and documentation for consistency across products

• Conduct interviews, surveys, and usability tests to gather insights for problem-solving

• Define success metrics and incorporate findings into design cycles

• Prepare client-facing presentations and walk clients through recommendations

• Collaborate with product, engineering, and client-facing teams to define objectives and user journeys

• Take ownership of systems and ensure accessible, performant design

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in visual (UI) and experience (UX) design

• Online portfolio demonstrating consumer-facing web and mobile design experience

• Expertise in the Figma suite and modern prototyping tools

• Experience in creating and evolving design systems

• Proficiency in UX thinking and research

• Strong knowledge of user-centric design principles and web/mobile design standards

• Familiarity with Webflow, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks

• Experience in agile, cross-functional teams

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in English

• Open to candidates in Canada or Latin America

• Engagement as an independent contractor with responsibility for taxes and benefits

• Bonus: startup experience, knowledge of SEO, web optimization, accessibility standards, curiosity/knowledge in GenAI, experience in mentoring designers
