• Conduct in-depth user research through interviews, surveys, usability testing, and ethnographic studies.
• Develop user experience strategies, information architecture, user flows, and interaction models.
• Produce various design artifacts like wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes.
• Build functional prototypes to mimic user interactions and workflows.
• Contribute to enhancing and overseeing the design system.
• Lead usability tests, analyze findings, and implement design enhancements based on insights.
• Collaborate effectively with product managers, backend engineers, AI engineers, and frontend developers.
• Advocate for user-centered design, accessibility standards, and ethical design practices.
• Mentor other designers, provide design feedback, and participate in design reviews.
• Take part in interviewing and onboarding new team members.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in UX Design, Product Design, or related fields.
• Proven track record in designing for healthcare, including knowledge of clinical workflows, patient portals, EMR/EHR systems, and healthcare regulations.
• Expertise in design and prototyping tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design, information architecture, interaction design, and visual design principles.
• Familiarity with web accessibility standards and a dedication to inclusive design.
• Extensive experience in various user research methods such as qualitative interviews and usability testing.
• Ability to provide strategic design feedback and solve complex design challenges analytically.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate in diverse, cross-functional teams.
• Experience working closely with cross-functional partners like Product, Engineering, and Data Science.
• Demonstrated leadership in shaping the user experience vision for software products.
